Episode 121 – Dark City [1998]

A year before The Matrix, another film tackled some similar ideas. It wasn’t as popular as The Matrix and it didn’t receive any sequels but Roger Ebert called it the best film of 1998. Episode 120 – Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance [2012]

After five years, Ghost Rider fans could rejoice! Finally a sequel! Surely it will be better than the 2005 movie, right? Right…? In the director’s chairs this time around are Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor and sadly, other than Nicolas Cage clearly having fun, the sequel didn’t do much to help ol’ Ghost Rider on the big screen.
